‘Border Town’ attracts many visitors

During the National Day holiday, the large-scale live-action drama “Border Town” was staged at the Biancheng Theater of Fenghuang Ancient Town in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. There were no empty seats in the theater. Tourists from all over the country enjoyed the scenery of Xiangxi, listened to the beautiful stories of Xiangxi, and experienced the humanistic feelings of Xiangxi. The drama consisted of six acts, with a duration of about 75 minutes. With clever stage design, stretching mountains, and flowing river water and exquisite stilted houses, it showcased a misty and picturesque ancient town to the audience. In the drama, the actors, dressed in distinctive Miao costumes adorned with silver ornaments, waved wax printed fabrics with strong Miao cultural characteristics and rinsed them in water. The Miao love songs sung in an antiphonal style presented the enthusiasm and simplicity of the Miao people. The unique ethnic dances and music showcased the mysterious and romantic Xiangxi.
